Idle Warship

Via Nah Right, word of a new collabo: Talib Kweli + Res = Idle Warship [myspace].
Their single "Screamin" features MC Chris. Hearing his voice just makes me smile, cuz I imagine it coming from a big spider in a diaper, or an eldery vampire, ya know? ATHF fans know.


That said, I like this song. I forgot that Talib has the electronic/dance thing in him; it's impressive. I hope there's a Idle Warship full length coming out soon, but I'm unclear on that. I'm still holding my breath for the next Blacksmith release (pleeease let it be Jean Grae). Talib and Res have gotten together before with nice results, so I know that if there is an Idle Warship album coming, it is gonna be good. I also especially like "7:30" from the Beautiful Mix CD. It's so different that it's hard to believe it's the same artist...
